Today I managed to feed A on the subway! She was in the Ergo with the cover up over her head and I needed her to nap so I just sneakily shoved a boob in her mouth and it worked a treat! None of the other passengers realised but I felt like doing a happy dance in the aisle! But obviously I didn't : )

YES!
I've managed to nurse P a handful of times while out eating with DH's family, the majority of them none the wiser. which was a HUGE deal as they're kinda eh about breastfeeding.

Nice! I felt like that the first time I fed L in the movie theatre and didn't have my breastfeeding pillow. It showed me that I had really mastered getting him in the right position since i didnt need the pillow!

@MaisyMay: Pumping and driving? That's amazing! I have enough trouble pumping and sitting down, lol.
@runsyellowlites: I always think doing it without people realising is huge!
@PurpleUnicorn: Doing it without a pillow is really hard isn't it? I love the Ergo for that - keeps her upright so I don't have to worry about not having the support of a pillow.

There's really something quite liberating about nursing in public!
I was out with some of the girls from coffee group this morning and we actually had an elderly gentleman compliment us on how nicely we were feeding our babies :-). And with four women, four babies and four prams we took up a fair amount of space!

@runsyellowlites: I tuck mine into my regular bra, sometimes folding the edge of the cup over. Is that what you do?

@travelgirl1: I use my bra to hold the pump horns so that I can safely drive.
