I just plan on staying away from cold foods. And to eat regular meals. With #1, I didn't listen to my mom and drank cold beverages and ate popsicles and stuff (it was summer!) and now my teeth and gums hurt all the time! And I didn't eat very much postpartum because I was so stressed out about having a newborn.

While I appreciated the emphasis on resting and my mother was around to cook everything for us, I didn't like being trapped in the house and avoiding cold things and fruit in the heat of summer. My mom is a big believer, and me, not so much, so we butted heads a lot. I recall thinking after that sitting month that there was no way in hell I would go through that again, but...we will see. At the very least, I think I will have to go out, because DS can't be trapped indoors with me, right? =P
