I've been trying this out to see if the kids will eat better, and the last few breakfasts have gone pretty well! The problem I've run into is when they ask for something we don't have... then I have to backtrack and explain
Maybe next time, I will list a few options and ask them to pick. Ugh, now it sounds like I'm running a restaurant - what's next, me printing a menu for the kids with pictures of food on it? Don't all the feeding experts say to just give the kids whatever you want to make them, and expect them to eat it?
Anyway just trying out some things lately. Not sure if this one is a keeper. Do you ever ask your kids what they'd like to eat for breakfast?
