LO's nursing sessions last like an hour at a time. Between nursing and pumping, my entire world revolves around my boobs.
When does this end? At what age can I expect his nursing sessions to decrease to a more manageable time?

For me it was approximately 12 weeks(ish) . . . Until LO became easily distracted at 16 weeks! Out of the frying pan . . . so to speak!

I'm thinking around four weeks and then again at eight weeks things got better again?
Is there any chance you could pull back on the pumping to give yourself a wee break?

I would say right around 8 weeks she got more efficient. Now, at 8 months she only nursed for about 5-10 minutes.

It was around 9 weeks for us. Now at 7 months, it's so quick normally, 10 minutes max!

@rahlyrah: aww hang in there... you will turn the corner before you know it!!! for me, it was around 8-9 weeks, but we really found our stride around 12 weeks, and now that he just turned 4 months our nursing sessions usually last only 5-10 minutes! the one right before bed usually lasts awhile, but it's because he starts falling asleep and comfort sucking.

9 weeks. She was a horrible eater before that!
