LO was an amazing eater. His babysitter would even comment that he ate more than her kindergartner. Now at 16 months, the kid barely eats. He eats a little a breakfast (mostly fruit and toast, refuses oatmeal now and won't touch yogurt).
Lunch is at the babysitters, but we send it. He used to eat it all for her, but is now starting to refuse food even from her. Lunch and dinner are similar foods. Pasta or potatoes, a veggie, chicken, steak, or meatballs, and either some fresh fruit or applesauce.
Here's my question - During dinnertime, when LO refuses to eat food that prior to that meal he liked, I usually get him something else to try and eat. He's a peanut (12th for height, 33rd for weight) so I hate for him to not eat enough. Am I creating a monster by always getting him different food? At what age should it be eat what I give you?
