we plan to take our baby to the daycare at about 8 weeks after her birth, so she will be 2 months old. It just seems like such a young age to leave a baby. How old was your LO when they went to daycare or were left with a nanny?

RJ was 18 months. With our next one I'll probably try to stretch out time off / Rob Sr.'s paternity leave / grandmas coming for stretches of time as much as I can... the ideal is maybe 5 months, but they could end up going as early as 2 months.

She will be 4 months old when she goes to daycare. Sigh.

Our LO will be 12 weeks, at least that's the plan right now since I will take that long off work.

She had just turned 3 months old when she started at the daycare provider. I was happy to be able to stay home so long

6 months. Originally it was 4 months but I felt like it was too early and I wasn't working anyway so I stretched it to 6 months and then found a new job.

I went back to work at 9 weeks, but then we had other family watch him for a couple weeks, and he started daycare at 12 weeks. He did fine- super easy transition.
