so most of my tww hasn't been that bad because my mom very sweetly came to visit me--not only are dh and I ldr right now, but I'm away from everyone at home as well--so I've been really keeping busy and distracted. But she left yesterday and I was feeling kind of off all day--really tired and just like I was dragging in general. so I decided to test early...
and then this morning (CD 28; not sure which dpo) I POAS, and this is what it looked like, to my surprise! do you gals see the line too? that's not a squinter even, right? I'll test again in a few days to see if the line gets darker, but omg!!!
I really didn't think this month had been that great a shot for us! And I feel bad, even though I know I shouldn't, that I've been drinking lots of wine and coffee while my mom was here visiting. no big symptoms yet besides being tired, but I thought that could be normal. I had cramps first thing in the morning for a few days in a row that week, but I had similar cramps the week before my period came last month. I've felt a little gassier than usual the last couple days but I've had some stomach issues like that in the past as well, so again I didn't think too much of it...
also, poor dh, I called him to tell him just after 6am my time which is past 1am his so he was definitely barely awake. he also ignored my calls a bunch of times, and I'm sure our neighbors hate us right now because our dogs bark their little heads off when our phones ring...ooooops! and also, it really sucks not to be in the same place when finding out this news.
ETA: also, happy anniversary to us--yesterday was our 3 year wedding anniversary! best present ever

Whew! This thread is hard to keep up with! I'm going to be on vacation the next couple days so I won't be able to keep up much, but I am thinking about everyone! Hoping we have lots of BFP's this month

Can you please change my testing date to 8/24? I think I may have typed the wrong thing a few pages back.
We are trying a much more laid back approach this month. No OPKs and I don't have any Wondfos to obsessively test early. So I'll wait for AF and if she doesn't come then I will buy a test. I hope I can stand it

it totally doesn't feel real yet, i'm still stunned!@babybean404: my mom did know that we've been ttc but she didn't know where I was in my cycle or that kind of specific thing. so we talked about it a lot while she was visiting, but I think she'll be really surprised when we eventually tell her!
