We did 4 months in the PNP in our room. After that we transitioned her to a crib in her own room. That timing worked out really well for us, since she was a good independent sleeper by then. At 15 months we still have her sleep in a PNP on trips, so she definitely still fits in it and could have slept in it exclusively until 1 year. It doesn't seem as comfortable to me though as her crib, which is one reason why I'm happier she sleeps mostly in her crib.

We use a Pnp in our room. At 4 months we had to recently stop using the bassinet part as he is too heavy for it.

There is a weight restriction but also you would stop using the top once they can start pulling up or sitting up.

4 hours the first stretch, 2-3 hours the second stretch. We retired the pack n play at 7 weeks because she was keeping me awake making little noises, now she sleeps in her room and we use a monitor. We do bring it to grandma's house with us, though.

We have a breeze playard, and A slept in the top bassinet until about 12 weeks, and now sleeps in the main bottom part.

Our LO is almost 7 months and still sleeps in the PnP. The bassinet portion has a weight limit, which he hit at 4.5 or 5 months. He now sleeps in the bottom part. It took a little getting used to reaching so far down for him, but I adjusted pretty quickly. He didn't need to adjust because it's the same mattress. I have no complaints. It's very convenient when we travel because he's already used to it as a bed, so the different environment has less of an effect on him. Some don't like the mattress, but preference for a cushy mattress is learned and our guy seems comfortable on it. It's also safer to have a firmer surface. We're planning to keep this configuration until at least a year, as we're in a small 1 bedroom apartment.

She definitely will not be able to stay in the top part until a year. Once she can sit up and/or get on all fours it's not safe any more. If you plan to have her in your room for a full year I'd just put the crib in there. That being said, remember things don't always work out how you expect them too. We learned around four months that all three of sleep infinitely better with baby in her own room.

We could only use the bassinet portion for about 2 months before it felt unsafe.
After that, he jus seemed a lot more comfy in his crib, but we will occasionally use the PNP on the low setting.
