My LO is 9 1/2 months and is getting to where she doesn't want to take a bottle. Instead, she wants solids and water.
Any thoughts on this? Is this a short phase or are we really starting to bottle wean?

@MaisyMay: Can you give breastmilk or formula in a cup if she doesnt want the bottle?

E weened from the bottle by himself, but at closer to 11 months. He was fed breastmilk exclusively, so we never switched from the slow flow newborn nipples. Once we introduced a sippy cup and he realized how much faster he could get the liquid, he got super frustrated with taking a bottle. Maybe you can try introducing a cup of some sort.

She might be bottle weaning but she still needs to get the formula/milk some how, either from a sippy or an open cup.

@hilsy85: @kiddosc: @Mrsbells: She takes water from a straw cup, but I hadn't thought to try putting formula in a straw cup for her. We may have to try that if her intake keeps declining.
