My 13 weeks old usually nurses for 15 min on one side and 10 on the other. Recently he's only been eating for 10 - 15 min on one side, not eating on the other...Just wanting to baby talk and look at me. 
is this normal? Did it effect your milk supply?

If I remember correctly, right around 12 weeks is when I had a really good established milk supply. It could just be that you are making enough and he is efficient enough to get all he needs with one side. If you are very worried about it, you could always pump one (or both) sides after he nurses (or after every other depending on how often) or just hand express some from the side he didn't eat from. However this sounds pretty normal to me.

Distracted? K goes through phases of that. Just try to offer more often and nurse in a quiet, dark room.

Is he still able to go the same amount of time in between feedings? If so I would say he's just becoming a more efficient nurser.

This happened to us at exactly the same time. But for us it was sometimes as few as 5 minutes every 3-3.5 hrs. I was so worried!! I did a weighted feed one day because I was so concerned and it turns out in those 5 minutes he took in 4 oz. The pedi explained they get more efficient by that age. Now he is 4 months and takes longer and eats more often again. These babies love to change it up on us

normal...she is either becoming more efficient, or she is going through a phase where she just isn't eating as much. i used to time nursing sessions with baby connect and there was a week where she nursed about half the amount of time that she usually did. i was so nervous, i brought her to the pedi, who said everything was fine. and it was. she went back to her normal length feeds in a week and eventually she got more efficient. but that happened more gradually, not over the span of a week. my supply fell during that week that she ate less, but once she resumed normal feeding time, it picked back up. i wouldn't worry too much about it.

Yup, same experience here. I think they are just a lot better at getting what they need, and also maybe just coasting a little bit until the next growth spurt too! It's a good time to start stashing some milk away, if you can pump the other side when baby only eats on one side...
