When did you start teaching LO baby sign language?

Around 6 months? I stopped using it because LO started talking pretty early.

I started right when my daughter really developed language at around a year. We did nurse, more, all done, eat, and water. At 18 months she's dropped most of them in favor of the words, but she still signs 'more' a lot.
Also, she started signing 'water' a ton once she learned it, and I felt awful that I hadn't been giving her enough. So I was realllllllly glad I'd done it. It was really useful for her to be able to express these concepts before she could say them, and she's even a really early talker. I think it's useful for everyone.
