So we sleep trained our almost five month old last week. It was ridiculously easy and has helped tremendously. After one night of a 20 minute CIO session, he has put himself to sleep with almost zero tears for every nap and bedtime (as opposed to crying for two hours in my arms). Here's the thing though--because he is so young, I did not want to eliminate his MOTN feeding, which typically was happening around 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. So for the first few days, he'd wake up then, cry, and I'd feed him. Lately, he has just been waking up giggling and puts himself back to sleep after thirty minutes or so. Should I feed him then or should I just let him soothe himself back to sleep? I am just worried he is hungry but doesn't want to bother me with crying, although that certainly doesn't stop him from doing so during the day when he's hungry!
