BTDT moms - what time do your 7 (almost 8), and 11 year olds go to bed? Trying to decide if DH is letting my step kids stay up too late. Also, are you more relaxed about bedtime in the summer or do you still stick to a schedule?

My LO is still a toddler, but I can say that I plan to stick to a schedule over the summer with bedtime. Of course there are always exceptions, but for the most part I just think it's easier and healthier for people to get up and go to bed at the same time every day.

Xander's still only a baby, but I feel like when I was that age, my bedtime was 7:30-8:30 maybe. And we still kept the same bedtime during the summer, though we probably slept in more!
Maybe bedtime might've been relaxed by 30 minutes, but definitely nothing too late!

DH is getting them in bed after 10 pm most nights!

I NEED my quiet time, so they're usually in bed no later than 9. My son (11) goes to bed really early, 8-8:30 and that's no different than during school, stepdaughters are 5 and 8.
Maybe bedtime might've been relaxed by 30 minutes, but definitely nothing too late!
