Putting this under potty-training because that's where the concern lies?

We'll be moving LO into her new big girl bed soon. It's a Full size, if that matters. She is potty-trained and staying dry overnight and during naps, though I still try to put her in diapers for sleep. She is increasingly refusing to wear the diapers for sleep.

I scored a really nice mattress pad cover for half price, but it only says "stain resistant" and repels spills. DH thinks it's not sufficient and we need a "waterproof" cover. From what I've heard, the waterproof are really not breathable and get hot/sweaty? What do you think?

What do you have for your toddler and effectiveness? Any links to recommendations appreciated!
