I would love other mommies input on your favorite burp cloth to use. In my years of nannying, I favored the Gerber cloth diapers to use as burp cloths, but they seem to have lowered in quality since I last used them. Thanks in advance!

We've just been using plain old wash cloths and they work fine.

I made my own burp cloths. They are much better than anything I found in store and were much cheaper to make them. We've also used some receiving blankets. A lot of the ones we have are too small to use for anything other than burp cloths and changing mats.

I use cloth diapers. They worked well.

We use diaper service quality prefold cloth diapers (I think they're osocozy brand), which are great, and gerber prefolds. I hate the gerber ones we have. I think gerber makes several different quality levels of prefolds, and we must have purchased the cheapest ones. I know my SIL has gerbers from several years ago (or possibly a different type of gerber), and they're still great even after 2 kiddos.

We've been using receiving blankets for every feeding and they work just fine. I drape myself with it while I nurse to catch and dribbles or leaks, then if she spits up I'll wipe it up with that same cloth.

We use the ones gifted to us. It doesn't matter to us which ones we use. They all work fine.

I have some gerber burp clothes and I like them. I hardly ever used them though.

Gerber prefolds and flannel receiving blankets that are much use past the newborn stage.
