Any opinions on formula mixers (the handheld kind)? We have 2 Dr Brown mixing pitchers and we keep breaking/losing parts. We plan to still use the plastic pitchers. We are looking at Munchkin and Prince Lionheart brand ones right now but maybe there is something better out there?

No advice on those as I haven't tried them but we also do warm water. Or, warm, dissolve really quickly, then add cold. I try not to do this all the time as I'm not sure if it's good for the nutrients and what not in the formula (though my lo sure doesn't have a weight problem.)

It's not perfect cause I can only mix 20 oz. at a time. I also bought travel caps for my Dr. Brown bottles so sometimes I just shake it in the bottle, then remove the cap and add the vent/nipple pieces.

We used this. It worked well for us. No parts to break really, but not sure about adding bubbles we never seemed to have an issue.

@Finfan: what parts do you have left? I lost my handle to one of my Dr Brown's pitcher and I have to keep moving the handle to my clean pitcher.
