what did you opt for?
the thought of an IUD gives me heebie jeebies. I can barely remember my current medicine, so I'm not going to chance remembering the mini pill (isn't that one like, to the hour?!). Also afraid to mess w/my supply.
for now, it's condoms or baby roulette.. DH isn't thrilled with either option, but too bad! lol.

I think I'm going to do Depo. I've really liked it in the past. Originally I was thinking we would try for #2 within a year but after a rough induction and a short stay in the PICU I'm thinking I'll need a bit longer. I was planning on going back on the pill for 6 ish months, but now I'll likely do Depo for a year, then the pill until 3-6 mo before we want to try again.

We use condoms. I've had supply issues so I didn't want to mess with the pill in case it made my supply worse While nursing. I'm not sure exactly when I'll wean and i think we'll prob try for a second in about a year, but we might just keep using condoms until then, it doesn't seem worth it to go on the pill for less than a year

I had the Mirena placed at 6 weeks pp. I had it after having M and was very happy with it. No complaints and conceived easily after removal.

We use condoms. I don't like being on the pill any more, and The idea of an iud when I know we will being ttc within a couple years just doesn't sit right with me (my issue- I know lots of women who did this very successfully!) I was on the pill for so long, he can deal with condoms for now.
After we have a second, which will almost definitely be our last, I will probably get Mirena.

I have Mirena and so far it's great. It hurt when she put it in, but I can't feel it at all and have barely thought about it since getting it. I feel like it's the best for me.

I have a script for the mini pill and haven't gotten it filled yet. We've only DTD a few times pp and honestly we haven't been careful. 
it's hard to remember after not using anything for so long.
I had a Mirena before DD1 and loved it.
We pulled and prayed between DD1 and DD2.

I was on the mini pill but I started getting aura migraines and so I just stopped taking it I don't really want an IUD.
We did condoms/PNP after #1 and I got pregnant 9mo PP, even without a period. So unless you really want a baby, I don't think I would go that route!
Right now we are using everyone's least favorite method of BC...abstinence. I have a doctor appointment in a week to try to figure something else out and DH really hates condoms, so

We did pull-out for 8 years and had NO issues. I had a couple of doctors give me crap, but we had no scares in those 8 years, then got pregnant on the first try when we stopped, so it does work. According to the PP website it's 97% effective, so better than condoms, IF used correctly.

We've been doing pull and pray and it's worked so far - I've had 5 cycles since having M. Last time I was postpartum I did nothing and got pregnant my first cycle and I also got pregnant my first time trying with my first so I feel confident pull out is working out ok for us.

I got Mirena ASAP after #2. He wasn't allowed near me until that was done. Zero interest in adding a third to our family any time soon.
No complaints so far, supply has been just fine too.

No bc after DS and before DD (that was only 9 months), no bc since DD (almost 13m), but I'm considering an iud soon.

Before N I was on the pill. I was terrible at taking it then. So after N, I didn't bother with BC. We got pregnant with E a little earlier then we planned (by a month) using pull and pray. We decided even after E not to go back on any BC. We used condoms for a while, however now we are looking to get pregnant anytime.
The idea of using an IUD scares me! I know the complications are few and far between but I would be in the complication group and while on hormonal BC I had to have my gallbladder removed.

Condoms. I got back on the regular pill once we weaned (I was too paranoid about the mini pill messing with my supply). I don't mind it.

We used a combo of condoms and pull n pray. Worked for us!! I think after baby #2 I'll get an IUD since we're pretty unsure about #3.

I had gotten the IUD. Literally experienced the horror stories you hear about them. Had it removed and had to let my body heal for so long after removal cuz of the damage. I now have the Nexplanon. I've had it since October. No periods and never decreased my milk supply.

Condoms. I have no desire to go back on hormonal birth control, and the thought of the copper IUD freaks me out, so that leaves condoms. We're nearly at the end of our BF'ing relationship now but I still don't want hormonal BC or an IUD, so condoms it will continue to be! Honestly, we don't mind - significantly less mess!

I did the mini pill between LO1 and LO2 and hated it. Now that we are done having children I have the copper IUD. I will never ever go back on hormonal BC.

I was indecisive after LO was born and resisted a bc prescription even though my gyno thought I was crazy. We just use NFP/condoms. I knew I didn't want an iud and just wasn't keen on hbc anymore. It's been working fine for us.

I used the mini-pill with no problem. I was not careful about timing, but it is pretty effective while breastfeeding. I did not have supply issues or weird side effects, but I was always happy on the regular pill. I would probably be more careful, and maybe get an IUD, if I were done having children, though.

I've had bad experiences with the pill and was therefore wary of any hormonal BC. I wanted to try a diaphragm but when the midwife tried to fit me none of them would fit right. She recommended vaginal contraceptive film which I didn't totally trust to be as reliable as other methods (and as a user, it seems more prone to user error) but we used before my period returned and then in conjunction with fertility awareness method once my period returned. I also kept an eye on cervical mucus before my period returns so I was kind of using fertility awareness even then.

we used condoms, after i got my period, NFP and condoms as well as pull-out. worked until i had a move and travel that delayed O and i assumed all was on the normal schedule.
