@jaguar: I've been silently following your story and have been praying hard for you.
Now that you've seen a HB, the chance of loss goes way down.
I had a huge bleed this time in my last pregnancy, and it turns out I had a SCH. It wasn't detectible ubtil I was 8 weeks along, but I bled bright red blood for weeks (and a LOT of it compared to the size of my SCH!).
Hang in there, mama. Praying so hard for you. Xoxoxo

Tell Olaf to stop being so dramatic!
Praying for you. I bled twice in my pregnancy (later on, which oddly enough has it's own set of fears) - if I learned anything from that, it's that pregnancy is a strange time and that things you think could automatically be bad (like bleeding) aren't always that cut and dry (for better or worse). Focus on your good HCGs and all the love / prayers you are getting from here, etc. Try to get some rest, which I know is sooo easy with a toddler.

Ok, a few more thoughts for you.
1) Your Betas are great! I think its after 10,000 that they usually can see a Fetal Pole so you are right there.
2) ER ultrasounds may not be as accurate as OB/RE/MFM machines. So have your OB double check size and everything too.
3) When I went to the ER with bleeding, they did not mention the idea of a SCH but when I went to my OB they found it right away and measured it and watched it from there.

So glad to see this update! FXed everything is fine. It's awesome to be able to detect heart rate that early. Great sign!

Fingers so so crossed for you - I had red bleeding with this pregnancy at 5w5d and then again at 6w2d, the second time it lasted off and on for a week, and I'm almost 36 weeks now. So sorry you're going through this but hoping so hard for a good outcome.

C'mon baby Jags...stick! Praying for you mama. LO2's HB at 5 weeks was at 90, so there's hope. He didn't get up above 100 until a bout 6.5 weeks.

Thinking of you but encouraged to hear about the HB! I had bright red bleeding at 5w6d with this pregnancy after a previous loss and was convinced it was happening again. I'm almost 33w now with a healthy baby.

@jaguar: I'm sorry you had such a scare! Olaf looks nice and cozy in there too. I hope that the bleeding stops and that you can rest.

@jaguar: Fingers (and toes and everything else) crossed for you. I had a SCH with this pregnancy and have a happy and healthy baby now. Hopefully this one bleed was a 1 time thing.

How scary...but what reassuring hcg and heartbeat!! Stick baby stick!

Ack! I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. Your HCG and little bub look great! Sometimes bleeding is just bleeding, as others said above. I hope that's the case here and that the rest of your pregnancy is as boring as possible!

My heart stopped when I saw this thread. Thank goodness you've had a good scan!!
I had a really heavy five day long bleed with my third baby at around six weeks. She's here and doing well.
You and Olaf are in my prayers. Stay sticky little bub!

Oh my gosh, how scary! I'm glad you've gotten some reassurance. Fwiw, I had 1 day of LOTS of red blood at 5wks & had no other issues beyond that with my DD. I freaked & cried & prayed that I wasn't mc'ing again and fortunately didn't. I'm praying for you & baby Olaf to stick, stick, stick!

Hope you are hanging in there. I'm so glad you got to see a heartbeat! Thinking about you.

Hope everything is ok mama!
I just wanted to chime in that I also had bleeding (and bed rest) and a vanishing twin/SCH at 5w1d. Didn't get a heartbeat for two more ultrasounds either. And my son is now four months old (also an October baby) and perfectly healthy. I know it's scary and I wish you nothing but peaceful thoughts and more good news to come. You are absolutely not alone with the early bleeding!

So sorry you're dealing with so much stress in this! That heartbeat and numbers sound good! I hope you're able to stay calm and that you have the stickiest of beans in there!

Thinking of you mama! Heres to hoping the bleeding has slowed and you can rest a little easier.

I'm hoping for the best and praying for you! I had awful cramps through my first trimester with my first, and the doctors kept saying that was normal.
