Oh no!! Hoping it's still just irritation from the progesterone
praying for clear, good answers from the ER.

Well, hospital staff have no idea why I'm bleeding.
hcg has risen to 9243 & there was a teeny tiny baby in there. I'm only 5w5d and it measured 5w3d, hb of 94bpm, super slow. I'm on rest orders. See OB tomorrow to fill him in.
Still having cramps and back aches but they are saying just to breathe... I'm trying to focus on that heart beat!

Praying hard for you. My cousin had a huge bleed at 6 weeks and had a healthy 3 month old. That's exciting to see the baby and heartbeat. I'm amazed they were able to find it so early. Rest and take care of yourself.

@jaguar: glad everything checked out ok! And that is amazing you can see the baby and measure the hb so early! Rest up and stay out little one!

Sending positive, sticky sticky baby vibes your way. Rising hcg is a good sign! Lots of people have early bleeding that ends up being fine. I don't think that HB is too slow for 5 weeks...

@jaguar: praying so hard for you! I think it is amazing they could detect a heartbeat already. The HB doesn't seem slow at all. It has to start somewhere! Best wishes and just continue to breath.

Big big hugs. I'm so sorry. This sounds very much like my last pregnancy. I had two miscarriages (no bleeding) and then when I saw bright red even the ER check in desk said they were sorry it was happening again. But there was a baby! Ultimately it was a SCH and I think a lot of irritation from the prog.
It was a long road to get to 20 weeks but it was a healthy pregnancy.

I'm sorry you are going through this stress. It's wonderful that you saw a heartbeat this early!
I had 0 bleeding for my 2 missed miscarriages. This current pregnancy I had a major bleed right at 12 weeks and I thought it was over, but it was a subchorionic bleed. Hang in there! Any time you bleed it is so so scary.
persimmon / 1483 posts
@jaguar: maybe a subchorionic hematoma? I had a small one and had tons of red bleeding early on. Fingers crossed for you!!!!!

So scary! All other signs are pointing to a healthy early pregnancy so could be just a random bleed and nothing more. Not what you need, nonetheless! Sending you all my hope and best wishes that you get answers, that Olaf remains safe and that you can regain your confidence in the pregnancy. Not easy with all you've been through.... one breath at a time.

I'm so sorry you're having another scary moment! I'm still going to guess it's all the progesterone being irritating. HCG is good, HB is good, measurement is good! Everything that should be there is.
Keeping you in my prayers, always. xoxo

I went into the ER with bleeding and terrible back seizing cramps with G. Turns out I had a SCH (I spotted for several more weeks after, but it eventually resolved), and a kidney stone!
I have everything crossed for you!!!!

Oh my goodness, you must be so scared, but so relieved to have seen the heartbeat (and Olaf!!). The heartbeat rate looks like it is right on track. Thinking of you both, plus your husband and G.
