Yep, I had this happen, and I have an adorable 6 month old as a result. Mine was heavy - I thought it was a period and used tampons for a few days. After I had the "period" I got a positive OPK right away. Someone urged me to do a pregnancy test, so I did thinking that it would be negative and it was positive. I was sure I had had a chemical pregnancy and it was residual hcg, but it was a pregnancy with a subchorionic hematoma.

I had quite a lot of bleeding in the first trimester and it was super scary and stressful but the pregnancy survived and carried to term and is now my 6 month old

Yep. I wound up going to the ER with my second LO because I thought for sure it was over. LO1 the same thing but they had me come in for a regular appointment for that. It was really scary but my girls are 1.5 and 3!

I had spotting, but not heavy bleeding. My bff had heavy bleeding several times (described it as a murder scene one of the times), "knew" it was all over because she also had cramping, but just had her son three weeks ago!
