My LO is almost 8 months and I have yet to give her breakfast. We do BLW but I have no clue what she can eat. Any ideas would be much appreciated! Another question, can I cook with dairy? What about eggs? Thanks!

At that age I would do scrambled eggs. Some moms do the whole egg, I just did the yolk. LO LOVES banana pancakes, fresh melon, chicken apple sausage, cooked apples with cinnamon, and sweet potato.

My toddler eats fruit, yogurt, and toast/cheerios every day of her life for breakfast. It's a great balance of nutrients and tummy filling bulk.

Thank you all. I will try these soon. @Sammyfab: those pancakes sound good. Could I have the recipe please?

@cheesetomywhine: of course! They're pretty yummy if I do say so myself!
1 ripe banana
A couple handfuls of spinach
1c oats
1c yogurt
4 eggs
Put all of the ingredients in a food processor/blender and blend.
I will add more oats if the mixture is too thick and milk/almond milk to thin it out.

When Wagon Jr. started with table foods our favorites were scrambled eggs (I'd make an omelet and cut it up into big chunks so he could pick them up), french toast cut into strips or chunks, and fruit. Always accompanied by a yogurt!

You can definitely give dairy & eggs if you don't have family history of allergy & your lo hasn't shown any issues (P is intolerant to both so we avoid them).
Today for breakfast P had half a GF waffle with mashed banana & blueberries on it instead of syrup.
The other day I made her some "pancakes" that were 1 mashed banana & 2 eggs mixed together. They were pretty good.

I usually gave Little M anything that we ate for dinner the night before.
We did eggs starting at 6m and used milk to cook too.

He gets scrambled eggs(i use the whole egg), pancake, waffle, toast with cream cheese, berries, melon, oranges. Someone on the blogs I believe posted a recipe for oatmeal bars that I eventually want to try as well

He loves cottage cheese! I buy the large curd, so it is easier to pick up. I also echo toast with cream cheese, banana chunks., Greek yogurt, and blueberries.

We do a baked fritatta (eggs, zucchini, carrots and parsnips) cut into pieces, banana pancake and a green smoothie for breakfast.

@cheesetomywhine: I'll put yogurt on waffles and cut them into strips since he can't eat yogurt on his own yet (even at 14m)
