As we were reading Ramona the Pest this evening, it occurred to me that my rising Kindergartner (sob!) might like to read some other books about kindergarten. Do you have any other suggestions?

My oldest will be in K in Sept as well and we have a couple of cute books - The Night Before Kindergarten and Kindergarten Here I Come.

The Pout-Pout Fish - my kiddo loved this book, and the kindergarten teachers all read this book the first week of school.

Mine is off to kinder this fall too. We have (and like) The Night Before Kindergarten and Planet Kindergarten, but she likes Ally-saurus & the First Day of School the best. I'm planning to read Junie B. Jones with her this summer.

@Mrs. Smoothie: I LOVE the Pout Pout fish - my DD struggled in K so I tear up every time I read it (her teacher gave each student a copy)
