A little one dear to me is about to lose her grandfather in the next few days and it is going to be really hard. She will be 4 at the end of the summer, she has dealt with loss of pets before but never people. Does anyone have any book recommendations for this age group?

I have used the workbook "When Someone Very Special Dies" with a 6 year old before and I might order that for them although the age suggestion is 6-12 on that one. I think some of the wording could be helpful for her mom though.

I personally don't care for "When Dinosaurs Die" because I am a pretty big believer in only offering as much info as a kid needs and that one covers way more than a four year old will ever question at once.

If you have any other resource suggestions I would appreciate it! Thank you!
