I have both and both have their merits.
Boppy = easier to put on and can be used to sit up/lay the baby
BF = def more support for the little one when breastfeeding, but def not as convenient or quick to put on
If I had to choose, I'd pick the BF because it def gives more support to the LO and maybe get the Boppy Lounge pillow for baby to sit/lay down in.

i got the gia simplisse and brestfriend. still waiting to try them out, but i do like the contoured shape of the gia pillow better than the boppy (esp cuz i'm tall).

For me, it's a toss up. They both have their pros and cons. I preferred the BF when LO was smaller because it is more supportive. Plus, I'm tall and have a long torso, so with the adjustable strap on the BF I was able to lift the pillow higher on my lap, if that makes sense...Now that LO is 6 months, I prefer the Bobby. She almost feels too big for the BF. I also like that the Bobby pillow is washable - the actual "pillow" part of the BF is foam and can't be tossed in the washer. So if something soaks through the cover (like a mid-nursing poop-splosion), it soaks into the foam.

My sister is a lactation consultant and 100% recommends the My Breast Friend. But I do have friends who have been perfectly happy with the Boppy.
I have the twin version on my registry and it's been highly recommended by multiples mamas too.

I used the Brest friend for a day. Never tried the Boppy! I just used pillows. The brest friend was nice!

I have the boppy and really like it. My LO LOVES playing on the floor as long as he's propped up with the boppy, otherwise he doesn't like the floor.

Like Owlmom, I preferred the BF when LO was really little (maybe up to 10-12 weeks) and nursing sessions were really long. But once LO got bigger, I definitely prefer the Boppy - so easy to take on and off

I'd heard that BF was better for the very well endowed, but I'm loving the Boppy. It really makes a difference, rather than just using throw pillows like I had been doing.

I have the boppy, but LO had reflux so I couldn't use it. She had to eat sitting upright.
