i've been contemplating on whether or not to take the boppy pillow to the hospital? i've read some things that people say they used it at the hospital, others said they didn't. if you took it to the hospital did you use it? or no? if you didn't take it did you wish you had?

I plan to take it - a few friends have said they were musts for BFing in the hospital!

I didn't take it with my first but I definitely plan on taking it to the hospital this time around with baby #2!

I didn't take it, I just used a bed pillow- thinking about it now, it probably would have made things easier for nursing if I had.

The hospital I first delivered at had My Breast Friends for everyone to use... the second hospital I delivered at didn't have anything of the sort... I just used regular pillows and was fine.

I had about 8 pillows in my bed so I just used pillows. Glad I didn't have an extra item to take home with me.

i didn't take it because we don't have a car and with the car seat and everything else, it was just too much. if i had it though, i would definitely have used it.

Yes. I used it. I thought it made it more. Cozy in that awful bed!

The hospital I delivered at had a nursing pillow for every room, so I used the one provided. We seriously wouldn't have needed any more items to take home!

I didn't take any but next time I plan to take My Brest Friend...I used this in the beginning to nurse and switched to the boppy later. If I was certain I was only going to be in the hospital for one night I might not bring it but I has an unplanned csection and was in the hospital for 4 days and will probably have another csection.

Oh my gosh, take it for sure. I used it a lot. PLUS, you can SIT on it if you have any tenderness post delivery.

I definitely took it. It also serves as a great place to prop baby up for cute photos.
I ended up with an emergency c-section so the nursing pillow really helped support the baby when my mid-section was SO SORE.

I didn't take it because I hadn't received it yet (knew I was getting it from MIL but there were problems with the shipment getting to me). I am definitely taking it this time.

I wish I had mine. Baby got jaundice and I needed a 'third hand' to do things to keep him awake. It was impossible. As soon as I got home and had my breastfeeding pillow, I was able to accomplish it. It makes breastfeeding soooo much easier.
