My LO had a nursing and bottle strike around 12 weeks. What worked for us was feeding him when he was sleepy or feeding him while he was distracted. I think Mrs. Jacks had a good post about bottle strikes on the blog that I found helpful when we were going through it. I hope that your DD starts to take the bottle soon!

I've been where you are on the bottle situation (although not with the few wet diapers). I drove myself nuts trying to get LO to take the bottle before she started daycare. We tried so many types of bottles and I wasted so much milk. In the end she took two days at daycare before she drank anything. Her doctor said it was ok and that she would drink.

My advice to you is to call LO's doctor, see what they say about the current situation of few wet diapers, and ask what they advise about leaving her. (Probably that she will eat when she's hungry) Spend your last two weeks nursing as much as you can and enjoying LO as much as you can. It will help your supply before you head back.

I'm sorry you're struggling with this, i've been there, got through it, and i'm back there again now! my LO refused a bottle until i went back to work, and the first day, i worked a short day because she hadn't eaten all day. the second day, she took 14 ounces! and the rest was history (until this bottle strike, but that's a whole other story, haha). She absolutely would not take a bottle when i was on maternity leave, but when i went back, she got used to the new normal and started sucking down the bottle.

As for tips, try to take a day or two off from the bottle. If she's screaming when she sees it, take a break from it. Try to let her play with the bottle as a toy and not drink from it. and leave the house, not just the room. Let her stare out the window if possible (my LO would only take the bottle facing out). and if you have a rock n play or a bouncer, try feeding her in there.
