LO took a bottle with no problems from day 2 after he was born. Now, he refuses the bottle. He has to be forced to take it and he keeps spitting it out. He can't even get through 2 oz without throwing a fit. I am amazed because this is the same kid who wouldn't latch on! I should be thankful he's breastfeeding, but I really need him to take a bottle once in awhile.

It began when he started, last week, to reject all of his pacifiers except the Avent Soothies. This was not good because I have like 20 pacifiers and only *2* are Avent Soothies. Thanks LO! What do I do with all these pacis he refuses to take now? Ah...
Anyways....
Then, last night and today the bottle rejection began. I knew it was coming because of the way he suckles from the bottles is too deep. He tries to get his mouth latched on wide just like he does on the breast and basically because the bottle nipple is huge and hard, it gags him (don't know if I am explaining that very well).

We have Avent, Playtex, Similac & Dr.Brown's bottles (All level 1-slow flows).
Any suggestions for breast-like nipple/bottles?
I saw these but they are pricey so I was wondering if anyone has tried them.

And Bare bottles aren't in stores yet but they seem pretty cool too.
