I'm sad.
I thought I wouldn't start my period until after I weaned my LO. She's only 7 1/2 months old and is nursing a lot still, but I got my period yesterday! Man. It's back with a vengeance!
Does AF affect breastmilk? Supply? I wanna continue to breast feed for at least another 6 months.. ideally another year.

yes it can definitely affect supply. you can take more milk plus, mother's milk tea or fenugreek to increase your supply.

I actually got my period back only a few months after having my daughter and I was able to breastfeed through the first year. I am sure it took away some of the potential but I think I did alright.

I'm an EP so I see exactly what i make each day. Around my period I do see a decent drop in output. But it always comes back!

I got my period like 2 months after Kayla was born and I am still at least partially breastfeeding at 9.5 months! 
I never took any supplements or anything so it's possible.
And AF is so sucky after baby...can she get any heavier!?!?
