With ds I was induced on a Saturday night and left on Thursday. #2 will probably be a scheduled c section so the time will be less hopefully. I am just trying to think of arrangements of what to do with P when were in the hospital!
Also was your c section an emergency or planned?

I had an emergency c-section. Gave birth just after midnight Tuesday was cleared by my doc to go home Thursday but stayed until Friday because DD had weight loss issues.

Gave birth on Thursday for both and went home on Sat afternoon.
I was induced on Tuesday night for #1 and I ended up with an emergency C-section. #2 was a repeat C-section.

I had an emergency cs for fetal intolerance. I delivered at 8pm Thursday and my doc was going to let me go home Saturday am (instead of the recommended sunday d/c) but because ds stayed for 10 days, I stayed the extra day.

I want to say I checked in Saturday morning but c sec was done around 5:45 at night, then I left around wed morning. I asked for an extra day.
Was supposed to be planned. But I went into labor so was going to try vaginally. But then my son's heart rate dropped, so was going to be emergency. But then regulated in the or, so turned non-emergency.

Scheduled C section on a Wednesday morning and didn't leave until Sunday afternoon. My doc was ok with me leaving on Friday but DS ran a fever. He wasn't discharged until bloodwork came back clear which was Sunday.

Mine was scheduled but I ended up going into labor early, the surgery was at 3 am on a Wednesday and we went home Friday morning. I would plan on 2 nights minimum.

I had a scheduled c-section and believe I went home after 3 or 4 days. You may need some help with P for a few days when you get home as well. Recovery wasn't terrible but there is no way I could have lifted a toddler.

Emergency c-sec (failure to progress). Had the surgery at 4 AM on Thursday and was discharged Friday at 4 PM. It was 12 hours early because I was desperate to get out of there, I was doing really well and the ward was over-crowded.

#1 I was induced on Wednesday morning and went home Saturday afternoon. #2 was a scheduled csection on Thursday morning and I went home saturday afternoon.

Emergency C sec on Monday early morning. They said standard is 3 days. I was cleared to leave on Thursday but LO had jaundice issues and nurse could tell that I didn't want to leave her in the hospital so she asked me if I still felt "pain" in which I nodded. The nurse then called the OB and convinced him that I needed to stay for another day. Bless her.

At my hospital they required you to stay for 2 nights after a c-section. I got there Sunday, but he didn't end up being born until Monday morning and we left on Wednesday.
