Stupid question of the day time!
Grilled Turkey breast, mayo, cheese sandwich on white? Or is it a no no because of the deli meat? He's 7 months.

I don't see why not. My SIL swears by sandwich bowls--a bowl with ripped up chunks of bread, deli meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato.

Well I made it, he devoured it, it was delicious and he's still alive. Weeee!

I wish I could feed DD that. She's allergic to a few things so the poor girl's mostly eating a gluten and lactose-free porridge with fruit.

my baby cant eat white bread because it causes her constipation. I also havent given her mayo or deli meat yet... I dont know what the rules are on those but she loves cheese though

I would feed my LO that! She loves bread and cheese

The only things that are a no-no for me are peanuts, honey, shellfish (shrimp). Main reason being they are common allergens and doctors would rather treat a reaction in a 1 year old than a 7 month old.
Otherwise as long as you aren't aware of issues (lactose, gluten, etc) you should be fine.
My BIGGEST suggestion is to always be there while they are eating. Then you will notice if they start reacting to something or choke. Seems like common sense, but moms are busy! I often find myself running to change the laundry or washing dishes etc while my LO is eating. My first choked on a hot dog bun (stuck so many of the little pieces in his mouth at once they formed a ball in his throat) and THANK THE LORD I was just at the sink doing dishes because I had to do the baby heimlich! Thankfully he was fine - it just a little scary for mommy! Had I been changing the laundry that day could have been a different ending!
