or does it just think its is always baby bc of sucking motion? i pump twice a day and always try to figure out how to alternate breasts for pumping because we block feed. i'm about to start throwing in an additional pump at night to go towards freezer stash and wonder if I even need to worry about alternating each time i pump or if it even matters???

My body lets down faster for baby, sometimes I just need to look her to let down and the pump definitely doesn't have that effect on me

Babies are more effective at emptying breasts than pumps, so I would probably alternate if you're not double pumping but I can understand that it would be confusing!

Most definitely! Sometimes it would take so long to let down at the pump. I'd have to close my eyes, relax my shoulders. Watch videos of DS... and I'd get just a few ounces and never felt like my breasts were emptied.
While breastfeeding DS would be gulping and cooing, I'd leak from the other side and could feel my breasts completely empty. -
Yeah, I was never a good pumper. I would wake up engorged, pump AT MOST 5 ounces, usually 3, and still be engorged. 3 minutes of nursing and I'm better.
