Apparently my girls can, but I definitely can not. DH and his friend are working on finishing a room in the basement which means it's past midnight and they are hammering and drilling into cement. It's something that needs to be done and schedule wise this is the only time that works, so thankfully the girls have fans on and are sleeping through it!
Can your LO sleep through loud noises? Or do they wake at every little sound?

We live under the flight path and my son sleeps through 747s taking off. It's amazing!! He also isn't bothered by our VERY noisy cats. But dogs barking outside get him every time. I hate when they start up during his naps!!!

Yes, both of them can sleep through noises at night but not as well during naps.

No. She wakes up so easily during naps. Evening is better, but we try to be careful about noise.

Night sleep, yes, she can sleep through anything. On new year's eve the fireworks were so loud the lights on her monitor were on red, but she didn't stir! Naps, not so much unless she falls asleep with the noise...our neighbour started mowing his lawn the other day during her nap and she woke up.

Yes, her room is on the main floor just down a hall, and we have an open concept in the main room so sound carries. Last weekend I had a baby shower with 20+ people and she slept right through it!

Yes! Our alarm went off at 2 am once ( sensor fell off window) and both kids slept thru it- I was shocked!

Yep both boys can. D can even sleep through M's middle of the night crying.

Yes he can I mostly can too. Only thing that usually wakes me is my baby crying.

Yes and no. Noises that are everyday occurrences that happened while I was pregnant (like doors slamming in our building and our dog barking) he sleeps through really well. But little things like a cabinet door shutting can wake him. I think it's because he's not used to the noise.
And he's kinda the opposite from a lot of LOs it sounds like...he sleeps through a lot with his naps, but he has been woken up by noise at night.

My lo is only a week old, but do far noises dont bother her at all. Our dog barks a lot , and dh has dropped a few loud things while she sleeps and she doesn't even flinch.

Yeah, she can sleep through pretty much anything. DH has mowed the lawn outside her window.. we've had horrible thunderstorms that she slept right through (including a tree falling outside her window) and she just snoozes on!

DD1: absolutely not - she is a super light sleeper
DD2: sleeps through almost anything once she's asleep, but getting there can be tough if it's noisy

Yep! I am such a light sleeper, but she sleeps through everything. She has been sleeping through the people across the street putting a roof on for like a month. They start at 6am EVERY DAY. What are they doing?!

Yep! Sometimes the steam from the shower sets off our ultra sensitive fire alarms, and she sleeps right through them!

DS's sleep is terrible, but when he is asleep, he sleeps through everything. It's awesome!! He even slept through an NFL game!

My LO is weird. Sometimes every little noise will wake her (I guess when she's in a lighter sleep cycle). But once, our fire alarm in the building went off, continuously for like..a full minute, and she slept through! I was amazed.

My daughter can sleep through a fire alarm, but if I walk down the steps in the morning she can hear it. I wonder what that says about me...
