So, has anyone done this?! I'm currently in the insurance field but have long toyed with the idea of a nursing degree. The hours and pay are quite amazing but the time commitment for schooling must be intense.
Has anyone or is anyone persuing a career change or a different degree post baby or while pregnant?

I was JUST about to write a post about this! I want to go back to school also and just don't know how feasible it is with a baby.

I'm thinking about a more baby/family friendly career change. It's hard to be in a demanding field like PR while juggling a family. I'm part-time right now and am thinking of doing something entirely different though I don't know what yet...

I'm in the process of planning for this. Like @ALittleP, I'm in the PR/Marketing field. Lots of long hours and travel. I've started taking an online class towards getting my Real Estate License and I'm hoping to slowly transition once we start a family. I figure it's better to start early and do things gradually than have a baby, quit my job, get my license and have to start a new career from square 1 all at once....

Are you thinking of quitting your job and doing school full time, or just going part time? I have a toddler, am pregnant and work on my Masters part-time while working full-time. I should graduate Fall 2013. I'm hoping to have a different career, although in a related field, when I'm done with the degree.
