Our daughter's preschool is open, but our son's public school is closed on Columbus Day. Our son is n a full-day program through his afterschool though, so we can get some work and packing done!

Yes, they close for all federal holidays. Luckily, I'm a federal employee do I have the day off anyway, but sometimes I wish I could have a day to get stuff done at home while she's at daycare!

Yes, it's closed...although we only go two days a week and Monday is not one of our days, so it doesn't impact us at all.

No, they're open. But they were recently incorporated into another organization, and that one does have off, so they might have it off next year (but not this year). I have off, though, and my mom and I are going to drop him off and go shopping

Thankfully they do not follow federal or school holidays. We both WOH so that would be terrible.

Yes, ugh. We both WOH so I actually hired LO's old nanny to watch her that day. Which is not cheap but I'm sure they'll get a kick out of seeing each other and we need to save our sick days for sickness as this is LOs first winter in daycare and she's already had to go home twice.

I have no clue b/c DD doesn't go on Mondays, lol! I don't have the day off tho. Still contemplating if I want to take it off since the weather will be nice!

Thankfully daycare is open since both DH and I have to work! Our daycare only closes for a few holidays which is one great thing because it matches up with our stingy-holiday-schedule jobs!

All of the daycare I visited so far have a copy of the public school calendar and follow their holidays and breaks.

Daycare is open, public school is closed, including afterschool program. Paying extra to send LO1 to daycare for the day. Unfortunately, I don't have time off to take

Daycare is closed, but Dh is taking off for once! He has a ton of vacation days saved up but usually I take off since my work is flexible. But I'm drowning in tasks and crunched for time so dh will be on lo-duty. Such a relief!
