So, this is an interesting story that I wanted to share here. I just started going to the chiropractor last week {side note: turns out I have a curved spine and jacked up neck}. This chiropractor is more of a combo of physical therapy and chiropractic care. Anyways, they had patient orientation last night and I thought some of the info could be relevant to some TTC.
They explained that when one or more bones in your spine gets pushed out of place {like from a car accident, fall, etc.}, it pinches your nerve(s). These nerves send signals to all of our organs in our body. When a nerve it pinched, not 100% of the signal is sent to the organ(s) {including reproductive organs when that particular nerve is pinched}, so it can cause problems. They call it a subluxation.
They told the story of one particular patient who was diagnosed with infertility and tried to have a baby for 20 years. She came in at the age of 45; they did an x-ray of her spine and found some subluxations, including the one that sends signals to reproductive organs. After four weeks of treatment, she came in crying and pulled out five positive pregnancy tests.
Sorry this is so long, but I just found it to be so interesting. Do you believe in chiropractic care? I do now, and I think I will be going for the rest of my life.
