There's a high chair I've seen that "clips" to the table. I know it's easy to transport for dinners out etc.
If I remember correctly it is not all plastic.
Anyone know which one I'm talking about?

There are a few, but I like this one cause you can use a tray & it turns so if you want baby to face you they can.

I actually think I found it via searching for the Phil and Ted chair in amazon.
I think the one I'm thinking of is the Inglesina Fast Table Chair.
Anyone have it? Great reviews on Amazon.
@baby98765: thoughts?

Phil and Ted's metoo. We got one as a gift with my first and used it a lot until I felt he was getting too heavy for it even if he didn't reach the max weight yet. I would only trust it being clipped onto a really stable restaurant table that won't easily tip over. We frequent Cheesecake Factory and they have good tables for that. They are really small and convenient if you don't want to use restaurant high chairs. And can't use on glass tables.

I really like it. It's easy to use. It collapses flat so you can stick it into a bag to carry it around - not a diaper bag though, unless you have a pretty big one. The seat comes off so you can wash it but I find the fabric really easy to just wipe down as well.

@regberadaisy: PHIL AND TED'S LOBSTER!!! WE have it and love it!

My parents used to carry one with them for me and my brother when we were younger. Wasn't bulky and didn't take up "leg space" at the table when eating out.

I love the Phil & Teds chairs. The family I nanny for has one and it's great. We got the Chicco clip-on as a gift. I don't like it nearly as much as Phil and Teds because it only has three settings for tightness, as opposed to a crank with the other ones that keep it securely fastened to the table.

@chopsuey119: @Coco Bee: A lot of reviews are saying the clamp isn't ideal because it doesn't work on tables with lips. I don't really notice tables when I go out to eat...so did you find this to be an issue. Is the fabric relatively easy to remove and wash?
@baby98765: the complaint I hear about this one vs the Inglesina is the harness is not a 5 point system. Do you find it to be a big deal?

@regberadaisy: We've used the lobster on tables with lips. So nasty mom confession.. I haven't washed the fabric yet! Ididn't know it was removable? It's due for a cleaning so I'm gonna hose it down sometime this week.

Not having the 5 point harness isn't a big deal for me. My baby is a very active one, who can't sit still for long. He twists and turns in the chair but he certainly can't get out of it on his own. He squirms around in other highchairs with a 5 point harness, so I don't think it would make a difference.

@regberadaisy: actually the little boy I could get out without the 5-point harness. He would stand up in the chair all the time!
Also I do think most tables have lips, ours does. However it works out because you can angle it down and under the lip, at least on our table. I just have a problem with how wobbly the chicco is because it doesn't have a clamp. If you can spring forbit I'd definitely choose the Phil and teds because you can clamp it, wash it and it has a 5 pt harness

@regberadaisy: there is one of the inglesina ones you were thinking of on nobetterdeal.com for $30 if you're still thinking of getting one =)

@mrs. bird: thanks!! I just checked today too and saw they had it. I'm not loving that color so since she won't need it for at least another 3 months I'm going to wait till they have a color I like.

@erwoo: I've just bought one of these!
My Brother and SIL had one attached to their breakfast bar and it was awesome! We're planning on leaving the Metoo attached to our breakfast bar and having a proper wooden highchair at the table in the dining table.

We got a Chicco one from Target but it doesn't swivel. We love it!

@Kemma: Cool! I wish we could have attached it to one of our tables but we have a big 60" glass table that just wouldn't work; but it worked really well at most restaurants we went to. Hope you like it too!
