I wore a hospital gown during labor both times. I stayed in the hospital gown for most of the first day with my first, then changed into a cami and comfy velour pants the next day. The second time I changed into my clothes as soon as I got to my room.

I wore a gown while in labor. I couldn't get out of bed until about six hrs pp, and I then changed into a black nightgown.

I wore the hospital gown while in labor then put my own robe on over it later. I know I wore yoga pants to go home.

@stine_ciro: while I agree those are ADORABLE...they just aren't practical. I don't know anyone IRL who had anything cute. I bought all black tshirt material shorts to wear bc I knew I'd bleed thru, and I did, I'm glad I had comfy clothes! Buy bigger than you think you'll need you'll thank yourself haha

I wore a comfy nursing bra and hospital gown while in labor & brought VS pajamas (button down thermals) & a robe to wear after. I wanted to feel pretty afterwards. I bought them three weeks before my due date so I'd have new pjs and a new robe. I bought dark colors, they didn't get ruined.

I just wore a hospital gown. I thought I would care but when the time came I didn't care what I was wearing and the hospital gowns were easy and I didn't care if they got dirty!

My girlfriend had her baby a couple of weeks ago and had one of those cute, monogrammed hospital gowns. You can see it on my IG. I think it was really cute and nice for being in pictures with friends. Personally, I was more comfy in my own mens'-style pajamas after labor. I felt more covered up and easy access to BF. I just wore the standard hospital gown for delivery. Can't imagine I'd want to wear the same one during & after labor.

I wore the hospital gown for my c section and for a day or so after. I bought a couple pairs of two piece button down jersey pjs from sears to wear after. They were comfy and cute and didn't get wrecked. I still wear them ow!

I wore the hospital gown the whole time too. I brought pj's.... but was in too much pain and too lazy to change into them. I'll probably bring some again next time just in case.

I wore the hospital gown during labor and delivery, and then later that day before guests arrived, I changed into yoga pants, nursing tank, and a sweater.

You're going to bleed all over whatever you wear. I wore the hospital gown and am so glad I did--it was nice to just be able to throw on a new one and not have to deal with bringing bloody clothes home. I took a shower and changed into a a nursing tank and yoga pants the day after I delivered.

Once I got into my recovery room I immediately took a shower and put on a cami and comfy shorts.
I didn't wear another hospital gown the rest of my trip. but, I also didn't bleed real bad either. Don't know if it was because it was my third time around or what.

I wore a gown for labor, and the day after the labor. (I labored until 11:15 pm, and had the epi in until noon the next day) Then I showered and put on drawstring pants, nursing top, and robe to wear around (LO had to go to NICU so I wanted to be covered up and down the elevator but still comfy.)

Edit: I wouldn't buy a pricey gown just because it's cute, it will be ruined and you will throw it away. Stick with the ugly provided one IMO!
