I buy Up&Up brand - enfamil type. I also will buy enfamil if I get a good enough coupon.

Right now I still nurse/pump all but pre-bedtime bottle. I make just enough milk so that I only have to give her that one formula bottle. It costs about $20-30/month depending on how big of a bottle she takes each day (she's only 5 mos so still variable).

Once we move to all formula I am planning on $75/month. (This accounts for the fact that I will start feeding her cereal at 6 mos which will reduce her formula intake a little...

I think it depends how old your baby is - I randomly checked one month (when he was 8 months old) and the cost was $110.94 (Enfamil infant, ordered on Amazon prime.) He was experimenting with solids, but still had 5 bottles of 6oz every day.

We go through about 1 $37 refill of Enfamil a week, so around $150 a month. We tried the store brand, but she got really constipated, so we've stuck with the name brand since then. That amount gives us 4-5 6-oz bottles a day.

Our son has 5 bottles, 6 oz each per day (plus some solids). He's been on this schedule for the last three months (currently 6 months) and our total cost in formula is about $125/month with coupons. It definitely depends on what type of formula you use, though. Hypoallergenic formulas are much more expensive. Enfamil is more expensive than Gerber or store brands, etc.

We budgeted $100 per month. We used Enfamil. I was often able to use coupons or get gift cards back at target for buying two or three tubs at a time so then it was less than $100.

About $115/month for Earth's Best Organic Sensitive from Amazon, and worth every penny.

I will say, we started out using the Target knockoff of Similac Sensitive and it was fine too, and less $. Then I decided I should probably get organic since we do mostly organic meat and dairy for the rest of the family, but that's just my craziness.

I'm a huge fan of formula-feeding. My husband and I split the feedings, kids gain great, and so far, both are totally happy and healthy (DS1 is almost 4 yrs and DS2 is 8 months - both were EFF after the first couple months).

About 35$ a week during the months she was drinking the most (5-8 months). Less before and after that. I used Nestle Goodstart liquid concentrate. It would have been less had I used the powder but I found the liquid concentrate mixed better.

When he was on formula (birth-13 months) we did Similac Advance from BJ's or Costco. 34 oz. container/week cost around $35, so like $130/month.

We feed Target brand formula (yellow top) and at the height of DD eating, we went through almost one box a week at a cost of about $23. We would wait for a sale and stock up so it was even cheaper. I really didn't think it was that bad. Now that she's on solids we're going through less.

And you don't need a warmer, sterilizer, etc. All you need are bottles and I'd suggest a bottle cleaning brush/sponge.

Ug, it's expensive. My newest son is a tank and is eating close to 35-40 oz/ day. I can still pump 1 bottle a day. We use Earth's Best organic, which costs $28/ can at Target online. We use that in about a week or less. We spend at least $120 a month.

For DS1 we used ready to pour Similac, which was a little more expensive.

$100 on soy formula. We did soy formula from 8 months on because he was having so many spit up issues. Soy formula's not cheap, neither is the hypoallergenic formulas either. Thankfully, he can handle cow's milk alright. Now, we spend about $8-10 a week on two gallons of milk for two boys.

@DesertDreams88: I stopped nursing when I went back to work at 12 weeks and we have been using the regular Similac Advanced every since. I get a super large canister from Amazon about once a week, maybe every 9-10 days. It's $39. DS is 8.5 months and eats maybe 25 ounces a day.

DS was on Alimentum from about 4/5 weeks until he was a year. At his peak intake I think we went through one can every 4 days. It was $30/can so roughly $225 or so a month?

My babies are on either Similac Neosure or Enfamil Enfacare, so each small can is $17-18. With coupons or buying in bulk on Amazon, I can get it down to $12-13 a can. Contact your similac or enfamil rep to get samples shipped to you.

I think I figured out it was $0.25-$0.50 a bottle at one time. It made me think formula wasn't that expensive. Breastfeeding didn't work out for me. Formula works for me.

Oh, at the peak, I was using a full can every 3-4 days. So I guess if I had no coupons, I was spending $360 a month for twins. No regrets here. Babies needed to be fed and preemie formula it is. Sucked that each baby had their own formula but I do what I can to make sure they are happy and eating. For my son, Enfamil formula gave him less gas.

We use an anti reflux formula which is $29 a tin and go through a tin a week - so around $120 a month.

For those who don't need special formula, it might be worth checking out the new Aldi formula that is (or will be) coming out. Whenever we are faced with moving to formula next year, I definitely want to see how it is and how the price compares.

@MOMTOLITTLEB: We aren't expecting until February and I plan to breastfeed, but last time had to supplement around 9 months. I had just seen the formula in this week's ad, which made me think of it.
