So LO has moved from formula to cow's milk and we're working on moving from bottle to sippy cup. I plan to ask the doctor when we go this week but I was wondering, how much cow's milk should she be drinking?
She was having about 24 oz of formula a day plus three meals and a snack. When I looked at information about switching to milk though, it says to keep it around 16-20 oz so she won't not eat her other food. But a sippy cup of water doesn't seem to have the same effect for her as a sippy cup of milk did in the afternoon. Today she's had about 11 oz of milk so far and she always takes an 8 oz bottle at bedtime. Maybe I should space it out? Give her a 6 oz bottle at bedtime and give her some milk in the afternoon? Or will 24 oz be okay?
I feel like it's confusing every time we have to make a change. She just loves milk more than I anticipated so we made the change much faster.
