I've had some cramps (very mild) pretty much the entire month. A few pains I think we're ovulation pains, but the others are just cramps. Started before O and have continued. Has anyone ever had this, and has anyone ever had this and still got a BFP anyway?

I don't think it will effect whether or not you get a BFP, but I've never had cramps for an entire month before. If they keep up, maybe speak to your doctor?

Did it start when you started TTC or with a change in the seriousness of TTC? When I started getting serious about it and charting, I had cramps ALL THE TIME. I was so mad because I used to clearly feel O cramps and period cramps and that's it. Then I had them constantly and couldn't distinguish anything. I also had the same thing with sore breasts. I kept thinking maybe I was ovulation, maybe it was implantation, etc. I think I was just trying to see if I felt anything...so I did. I don't think I was totally imagining it, but that I was much more tuned in to my body so I felt every weird little twinge. Now that I've stopped thinking that I might be pregnant it doesn't happen anymore. I don't know if this is what's going on.with you, but I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it gets worse or you have other symptoms. It's totally normal to have cramps during your period, during ovulation, during implantation, etc so you might really just have them a lot!

@Weagle: I have the same thing almost every month. But, if it's different for you, it could be BFP! Keep us all posted!! When's AF due?

I had such bad cramps leading up to my BFP (I don't remember how long, but definitely for a week) that I was convinced I was getting my period. I actually delayed testing b/c of my cramps.
I also had cramps on and off while ovulating and the week after.

@Mrs. Chickadee: It just started this month, and this is month 5 of TTC for #2. I'm not too worried, just wondering how it worked out for others...especially if they got a BFP like @gilmoregirl:

@Weagle: I had cramps for a few days before my BFP this month. I was pretty cranky one day because I had significant lower back pain, and I told DH I was sad because I was pretty sure my period was coming.
It didn't, though!

@Weagle: did it coincide with extra pre O BD? Are they very mild with a slightly increased need to pee or more feeling of urgency? It could be a mild UTI which obviously wouldn't impact on your chances of BFP.

I didn't actually ovulate since we were going through IVF, but that month I cramped pretty consistently from a few days after transfer through a couple weeks after my BFP. I'm pregnant with twins so in retrospect I think it was double the implantation, double the stretching uterus, double the hormones, etc. But for me, at least, cramps were consistent (and painful!) and I was actually preg.

@Snowdrop: hmm...I hadn't thought about that. I've never had one, so I don't really know how it would present itself in my body. I haven't had any other symptoms, but I'll definitely be looking out for them!
@twodoghouse: Now that I think about it, I do remember some cramps before my BFP with LO, but I don't remember having them this long. Hoping it's a good sign for us this month!

@Snowdrop: Not really. Everything is still the same. AF isn't due until Saturday, so I'll wait until then to POAS unless She shows early. I'll post it in the POAS thread
