I don't like to put a price on my baby's safety and comfort, but I just can't justify spending $200-300+ on a mattress that is so small and that she'll only use for a couple years.
Has anyone bought a mattress for around $100? What kind did you get?

Yup I bought the simmons kids naturally mattress at target. It's 109 but I got it on sale for 84! It's foam and had zero smell.

We spent $150. I asked the lady at BRU and she seemed very knowledgeable about what was important in a mattress.

This one is made part organic & is 60% off on amazon. It's not all organic, and the only review said it smelled like plastic, but I think that's true of most new baby mattresses with vinyl coverings until you let them air out. For $67 I think it's worth a shot!

We spent right about $100 each at Costco. Originally got the LA baby brand, but found Sealy ones in the store that we liked better. Both were organic and infant/toddler reversible. No smell and our babies sleep very well on them, better than their bassinets.

We got the graco crib and a mattress bundle on sale from wal Mart as a gift.
