What sort of gifts do you give your daycare providers for the holidays? I know gift cards are probably best but they feel so impersonal. Is there anything else? Also, who do you give to? DD is dropped off each morning in the other infant room until her teacher arrives. The morning teacher has definitely changed a poopy diaper or two (or more than two...) as soon as we've walked in. So I feel like I need something for her. But then there are different assistants that rotate too?

I always do a gift card plus a DIY/Homemade gifts. Usually something edible. For the main teachers then something for all the floaters to share.

What about bringing in a tray of bagels or muffins, with a gift card for the main teachers?

I do gift cards.
If you don't want to do that how about you order lunch for the teachers that help your LO throughout the day.
You can have them write down what they want (ask director about local restaurants that deliver) and then you can place the order and have it delivered one day

We used to do gift baskets per room, that way they can share the goodies and all the teachers get something. We then did a gift card and thank you card for her main teachers.
DD's preschool doesn't accept gifts (they are taking food bank donations instead) so I'm not sure what we will do for them. DS's daycare asks parents for donations towards Xmas bonus to the teachers but we will do a gift card and thank you note to his main teachers.

Following! Dd goes to a small, in-home daycare. We're trying to figure out how much extra $$ to give for Christmas. There's such a wide range of what is acceptable!
