Does your daycare cover the preschool years? Will you be keeping your LOs there for that or will you switch to an independent preschool? Why or why not?

Yup. They cover from 8 weeks until they start kindergarten. We have no other option than to send her there until then.

No they don't. There is a vote sometime next year on whether they should move kindergarten cut-off to dec 1. If that happens, Charlie won't be able to start pre-k and we'll have to send him to preschool... And pay for another year of childcare!

Yes it covers through kindergarten. We plan on keeping him there though kindergarten.

Yes, ours covers through kindergarten and then has before/after school programs for elementary school, so we plan to keep them there FOR-EV-AH! (said like the kid from The Sandlot)

Our current daycare covers up until the kids go into Kindergarten. We already know we want to enroll the kids in a private Catholic school, though, from preschool on up, so we'll make the switch once DD is eligible.
