Have you changed your lo's child care centers? Was it hard or was the transition pretty smooth? How old were they?

We moved our lo to a new daycare this month. She's 2.5. It has been absolute Hell. In the morning when she wakes up, she cries "I don't want to go bye bye." In the car, she says the same thing. We get there and walk into the room and she suctions herself to my leg. Her teacher is wonderful. She holds her when I leave as my daughter cries "mommy, mommy, i want my mommy."

I know she is getting used to it, the notes we are getting home are great and the teacher has gone out of her way to email us photos to show she really is playing while she's there, she doesn't just cry all day. It's still really hard.

I'm curious if we had done this later (or sooner) if it would have been easier?
