If you’ve developed a food allergy as an adult, what has your experience been? Did you see an allergist about it? Or just avoid the food? I seem to be becoming intolerant/allergic to quinoa, which I had been eating for years with no problem. I’ve had some issues over the last few months when I’ve eaten it, and then I had a pretty bad reaction to it last week. It’s an easy enough food to avoid, but I’m wondering if I should see a doctor, given the severity of the last reaction?
