These splotches happened to LO two nights in a row and I'm afraid it's the peach blend she was eating. It actually looks worse in pics than in person. Food allergy?

Maybe? How long after eating the new item did this show up?
Did you switch cleaning detergent recently? Personally it looks more like surface irritation than a food allergy.
Let us know how quickly it goes away too. Or if it gets worst.

@Raindrop: Happened while she was eating the peach/banana/oatmeal combo. That's when I noticed it, at least. But she also had just gotten out of her car seat both times, so maybe it's irritation from looking around in her seat? No other detergents are different--and it went away very quickly!

@mfa_lady: I'm no doctor but it sounds like a surface irritation. Like maybe your suggestion of her rubbing her head on her seat?
If it went away really quickly I don't think it's a food allergy.
I guess I would suggest (since it didn't seem too scary) to separate and try each of those by itself and see if it returns, unless you know which of those three is the absolute new food. Then I would just try that new item one more time.
I have eczema and food induced eczema (food allergy) and my LO has it too.
Our food induced eczema is usually shows up as a rash ... red AND bumpy (usually itchy for my LO but not for me) and it shows up within an hour of eating the thing we are allergic to and stick around for 4-6 hours afterwards. I mean everyone is different (maybe?) I just wanted to let you know what happens with us.
I have seen that type of rash on LO and it's usually if he goes near something new like a new shirt I didn't wash and maybe from the store it had something linger on the fabric and when I removed the shirt it went away. Again this is what happens with my LO. Haha.
I hope it's not anything to worry about! For me I guess I wouldn't worry since I have allergies and it seems like my LO has similar ones to me.
