Just wanted to send you good vibes. I know you don't want to get your hopes up but I did have cramps in the first trimester and some of them were pretty painful (and LO was perfectly healthy.) I know it feels like forever, hang in there!

So today is officially CD37 or 19 DPO, still getting on the wondfros. I might switch to HPT tomorrow, if AF doesn't show. I've had cycles of 37 about 3 times in the past year but my normal cycles are usually 33-34 days.
I'm going to call my RE and see what they suggest. I have scheduled a wellness visit with my GP for this wednesday and they are going to do blood work (blood glucose). Do you think I could ask them to do a beta? Or would I be stepping on my RE's toes by having another doctor do it? I figure I could ask since my GP is taking blood anyway. Maybe they aren't qualified to take betas but I guess I could ask.

@bluestriped bee: You could always ask. The only thing I wonder about is how much faster your RE could get you the results compared to your GP, since REs often seem to be set up to give same-day results, while I've heard of annoying delays with GPs!

@bluestriped bee: if they're taking blood anyway, i'd just ask them to order one wednesday. fingers crossed you'll have some good news!

@spaniellove: Good point. I just left a message with the RE and told her I was going to see an GP on Wednesday. Let see what they suggest.
@mrs. bird: Thanks, that's what I'm thinking.

OMG, this text from the DH just happened:
"Did Aunt Flo come yet?"
Haha! I had to chuckle at that. First, I haven't used the word Aunt Flo outloud in a long time. (Well, besides here on the internet but not IRL.) He and I have been saying 'period' for the past week or so. Why did he decide to use AF all of a sudden? So weird...
I know I mentioned to him months ago that on the internet people use AF or aunt flo to describe their period. I know he has a good memory but today's text and the use of AF was just so RANDOM!!!

@bluestriped bee: Your GP can definitely do a beta! I think you have all of hellobee crossing all of their fingers and toes, myself included!!

@autumnlove: Just realized he spelled it Flo like Allstate's commercial with the annoying sales rep Flo... not like Aunt Flow. Haha!

Day 38 (20 DPO) - no AF but with slightly stronger cramps today.
Forgot to POAS this morning.
I called the RE and asked them if I could get a beta test with my GP... They never called me back! They are usually so good with calling me back the same day.
I'm going to call my GP and see if its possible to get a beta with my blood work tomorrow.

I hope you can get that beta soon! Still seeing BFNs on wondfos? Did you try a FRER?
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
@pui: I forgot to POAS this morning. I don't have any FRER. I should splurge and get one. I have regular POAS HPT but not FRER.

@pui: Just picked up a FRER! I'll test when I get to work!

Thanks guys! I'm sad and disappointed but now I gotta somehow tell the DH... gently. I think that breaks my heart more having to tell him.
Onto my 3rd and final IUI. Then IVF in January.
