Cows milk? I love love love milk but now every time I drink it all I can think about is how I'm drinking a cows breast milk that was meant for a baby calf. I kind of wonder why this is completely normal and acceptable to drink a COW'S breastmilk but a human mom feeding her human baby is still somewhat taboo. Anybody else?

Yes! I rarely drink milk anymore.
It irks me that breastfeeding is still kind of taboo, particularly extended breastfeeding. I'm just like... So you want me to give LO milk intended for a different species, instead of milk designed by nature for him? Okaaaay, that totally makes sense... Not.

I am not much for cows milk anyway. Drives me crazy that people think breast feeding is weird.

A huge part of why I don't drink cow's milk is because I'm a bleeding heart who thinks it's sad that cows get baby after baby taken away from them, then get mechanically milked until they bleed. And yeah, breastfeeding, especially pumping, makes me think of this a lot!
