@mrsrugbee: yeah, my son has never slept through the night though so it's not a regression....he randomly will sleep through a night a week, but it's not a "thing". I'm not weaning for more sleep...in fact, I'm not even weaning now. But, I do plan to wean because I have no interest in nursing a toddler, never have.

Yes she was refusing the boob at night anyway and then started STTN.

Update - I weaned R at 13.5 months. For the month prior he was doing 1/2x a day, usually before bed and overnight. I finally gave up the before bed nursing and then would offer a bottle of milk overnight if he woke. He finally stopped waking up at 14m (though even at 16m he occasionally wakes for illness or teeth).

Nope. Weaned before DD1 STTN. Weaned after DD2 did. I don't think it has that much to do with it, honestly.

Sadly, no. Didn't wean until 2 years old and LO continued to wake up for months after that. He's almost 3.5 and still often does not STTN
