Not in labor! But I've been waking up w pregnancy insomnia the last few nights so I move to the guest room not wanting to wake dh.
Plan on doing the same if I start feeling contractions one of these days. I want him as well rested ad possible!!

I agree! One of us should be getting some sleep. My ability to make decisions is so impaired when I'm tired, that I'm going to need him at full brain power.

My contractions started at 4pm. I sent my hubby to bed at 10 so he could get some rest. I stayed on the couch all night and snoozed for about an hour from 3-4 when I was woken up to bad contractions. I woke him up at 4:30 to let him know it was time and I have never seen the man move faster in my life!
@mrsjyw I'm impressed you're sleeping in the guest room. I love our bed so much I refused to sleep elsewhere! Lol

He woke up because I got into bed and then back out and turned the light on. My labor was pretty fast so it was good that he woke up!

The night before I went to the hospital I got contractions all night but didn't wake my husband up. I was in bed, too, and tried to sleep in between. The next day we went to the hospital around 5.

Woman don't get me excited like that!!! I would love to say that I would let him rest up but I probably won't. I do NOT handle pain well and I'll need him to help me through.

I didn't wake him up until it was time to go to the hospital! Although I did wish he would have woken up of his own accords

It was before bed when my water broke, so I just shouted to him that it happened (then had to say "Yes, really!" about 6 times). We ended up sleeping at our house that night though and I didn't wake him when I had contractions. I did kick him into the spare room when we first came home so that he could sleep while I was up at all hours with a newborn. I liked having the TV on and he had to go to work so him being in the spare room made life easier for me.

He woke up when I got out of bed. He dozed for a couple of hours before I made him get up to get ready for the hospital. Things progressed much faster than I thought they would.

It was the middle of the day the first time so he was with me but the second time I had to call him at work because my water broke at 5 am and lo was breech so I needed a c-section. And it was a good thing I didn't wait because within an hour I was 6 cm dilated and things were escalating quickly!
